Connect Tradovate through OAuth, choose accounts, sync history, and verify executions before reviewing futures performance.

The direct answer

You can add more than one Tradovate connection. The application stores the OAuth access token and expiry, then lets you choose the accounts you want to sync.
Connect and select carefully
Start the OAuth flow from QuantLab and complete authorization with Tradovate. When the accounts appear, choose only the ones you intend to journal. A multi-login setup makes clear account selection important because two connections may expose different histories.
Initiate the history sync, then inspect the returned date range. Do not assume that a successful connection means every expected execution was included.
Reconcile before analysis
Compare the imported record with the Tradovate statement. Check contract, side, quantity, fill price, and result. If an execution is missing or duplicated, resolve that issue before using the dashboard result to judge a session.
CSV import is an alternative when you need a file-based route. It maps fields and normalizes execution data. Duplicate fingerprints prevent the same CSV records from being added again, and nearby executions can be grouped into positions.
Use the journal layer
For a prop account, enter its target and maximum drawdown. You can also record drawdown already used and a consistency limit. QuantLab calculates maximum drawdown and evaluates the configured consistency rule from the journal record.
Behavior detectors can point to patterns such as oversizing. Replay tests alternate risk limits against your own fills. Neither replaces the official Tradovate or firm account state.

Maintain the connection record
When you add a second Tradovate login, give each connection an identity you can match with the source account. Review account selection before every history import. This matters when two logins contain contracts from overlapping dates.
If you change the date range or reconnect OAuth, reconcile the boundary period again. Keep a note of the last statement date you checked. The goal is not to inspect every historical row each day. It is to create a known point where the broker and journal agreed, then investigate only the new range or any later discrepancy.
Review the account after reconciliation
Once the Tradovate record agrees, examine the account settings and the decisions behind the session. A prop account can store its target, maximum drawdown, drawdown already used, and consistency limit. Check that these inputs belong to this account before reading the calculated result.
Then write a correction tied to an execution sequence. This order keeps the source check, rule check, and behavior review distinct enough to diagnose later.
